My Favorite diner.
Hamburgers with cheese.
Milkshakes and fries.
Smelling of cigarettes and memories.
Specials every day.
Irate waitresses, mainly two or three.
Seemingly all named Irene.
I love this diner, mind you.
The coffee's always hot, the seats are always clean.
And business is slow in my diner on the road.
But this little homey place,

Why she thought I was attractive..I certainly didn't think so. "You're the inspirational type..." "I'm the inspirational type..." I repeated that night. Over and over and over again I ran through and against the grain of the words she spoke, simplicity in a tumbling cavern of possibility.
So I came up with this....
